Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidates must have diploma in Agriculture
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise 40-50 acres production block and execute production plan as per schedule
∎ Select suitable block with proper land and farmers, arrange deed meeting in presence of minimum 90% farmers and assist to complete deed with growers and prepare block layout
∎ Organize farmer’s meeting, season wise farmer’s training / orientation and follow-up minimum 8-10 farmers and their plots in a day
∎ Collect mouza map, dag and Khotian no. and other related documents of the block from contract growers
∎ Distribute different essential inputs of the contact growers in proper time like as foundation seed, micro-nutrient and pesticide etc.
∎ Suggest the contact growers about the production technology and conduct the activities of labor at field
∎ Plant potato seed through contract growers within 30 November If phase any problem informs to Junior Sector Specialist, Potato
∎ Purchase quality full potato seed as per requirement
∎ Reduce isolation plot gradually as per responsible block and optimize labor cost as per block budget
∎ Maintain production related materials for the next year and documents, register properly and submit report to the supervisor on time
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ HSC in Science will be considered in the case of experience at least one year in relevant field
∎ Have Knowledge about certified seed production
∎ Have practical knowledge on potato seed production technology.
∎ Able to rouging, quality control. motivation to farmer, data collection, stock maintaining, reporting of block activities.
∎ Should have communication skill, analytical ability, problem-solving and reporting
∎ Should have skill on relationship building, prioritizing. planning
∎ Must have knowledge on documentation in register properly as per provided formats
∎ Have knowledge of MS word, excel and internet browsing
∎ Have to work under pressure
