Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have diploma in Agriculture / HSC with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute progressive farmer selection and make necessary arrangements for conducting on farm evaluation trial according to the given protocol and demonstration of the supplied varieties / products
∎ Conduct survey for selecting suitable plots for the evaluation trial and setting up demonstration plots
∎ Provide technical knowhow and supply inputs to the respective farmers and monitor the evaluation and demonstration plots
∎ Ensure field-based data collection, taking photographs, preliminary data analysis and report preparation
∎ Participate the dealer workshop and build relationship with seed dealers along with concerned stake holders
∎ Share and promote key characteristics of promising varieties / products to the dealers and extended channel partners
∎ Participate the ‘Field Day’s and ‘Crop cutting’ functions organised by marketing and sales division and the training program liaising with experts of public organisations
∎ Build and maintain relation with sales people and conduct regular market survey and find out hot spots of the source of variety and varieties of desirable characteristics
∎ Collect up to date information about the competitive products of the market
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Age, education and experience will be relaxed for the potential candidates
∎ Field Experience on crop production for 1-2 years and idea on product development support system will be given preference
∎ Have knowledge on modern crop cultivation techniques, market-oriented consumer demand, agronomic aspects of the variety, hybrid and O.P seed, basic computer skill
∎ Have skill on diseases diagnosis. analytical ability, good interpersonal communication skill, preliminary data analysis
∎ Able to motivate farmers and work under presser
