Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Midwifery

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct normal delivery with/without direct guidance in makeshifts & Health Centre.
∎ Provide full antenatal care, postnatal care at satellite clinic and at tents/BDC.
∎ Assist mothers in labor, monitor the condition of the fetus and use knowledge of drugs and pain management and counseling of couples for family planning method adoption.
∎ Provide screening tests services and Family Planning services (if trained), manage
∎ Follow emergencies/complications according to guideline.
∎ Identify high risk pregnancies and make referrals to doctors or hospital/UHC.
∎ Receive and attend patients, patient counseling and provide health education.
∎ Maintain all register and document according to guidance.
∎ Ensure targeted performance with quality.
∎ Ensure timely and correctly reporting of all activities.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensurethe implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourageothers to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ KNOWLEDGE:
∎ Sound understanding and experience of primary healthcare.
∎ Knowledge on camp situation.
∎ Knowledge on emergency case management.
∎ SKILLS:
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Counseling skills.
∎ COMPETENCIES:
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Demonstrated skills in clinical planning and decision making.
∎ Demonstrated effective skills in leadership, communication, team building and conflict resolution.
∎ Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, culture and religion.
∎ Ability to work under pressure, be flexible in challenging situation.
