Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have diploma in Agriculture with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise 25-30 acres production block and execute production plan as on schedule
∎ Select suitable land / block, complete deed with contract grower / land owner and prepare block layout
∎ Organize farmer’s meeting, season wise farmer’s training/ orientation, follow-up minimum 8-10 farmers and their plots in a day
∎ Confirm seedbed and apply irrigation before 8-10 days of seeding and prepare main field finally 01 day before transplanting
∎ Execute all activities properly like as water management, fertilizer application, pest management, GA3 application and supplementary pollination
∎ Check panicle initiation, identify farmer’s / plot problem and submit report to sector specialist (seed production)
∎ Produce 98% genetically pure and quality seed through rouging, planting R line seedling at 5' area and confirm barrier hanging on time (9.00am) before flowering of others rice varieties
∎ Make action plan of harvesting according to chatal capacity, before weighting of seeds farmer lot wise sample should be checked for avoiding admixture and seed purchase at 12% moisture content
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ At least one-year experience in relevant field will get preference
∎ Age, education and experience will be relaxed for the potential candidate
∎ Have Knowledge about certified seed production
∎ Capable of checking panicle initiation, roughing, quality control. motivation of farmer, data collection, reporting of block activities
∎ Have practical knowledge on hybrid rice seed production technology
∎ Should have communication skill, analytical ability, problem-solving and reporting
∎ Should have skill on relationship building, prioritizing. planning
∎ Must have knowledge on documentation in register properly as per provided formats
∎ Have knowledge of MS word, excel and internet browsing
∎ Have to work under pressure
