Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidates should have Diploma in Agriculture
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Produce 200-225 MT quality seeds of different varieties on the basis of production plan
∎ Select suitable block / land, prepare block layout, ensure target wise transplantation with maintaining logo and searching chatal with godown as well as labor
∎ Distribute basic seed to the contract growers and realize seed value in proper time
∎ Ensure genetic purity (at least 98 %) of produced / procured seeds in different seasons
∎ Maintain conversion loss at expected level and process loss (maximum 3%) of procured seeds at different seasons
∎ Follow-up and monitor directly in different production activities such as schedule rouging and spraying) and post -harvest activities as like as threshing, sample checking, drying, cleaning, bagging, weighing, sewing, storing and finally seed sending to the SPC
∎ Ensure proper utilization and preservation of different production materials
∎ Provide technical support to the contract growers as well as labour
∎ Maintain documents, register and submit report to the supervisor
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ H.S.C in Science will be considered in case of 1-year experience in relevant field
∎ Should have communication skill, analytical ability, problem-solving and reporting
∎ Have sound knowledge on rice seed production, procurement and storing
∎ Should have skill on relationship building, prioritizing. planning
∎ Must have knowledge on documentation in register properly as per provided formats
∎ Have knowledge of MS word, excel and internet browsing
∎ Have to work under pressure
