Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ HSC in Science with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow up different apiary in different location and manage field labourer and experiments
∎ Assist in installation and maintenance of beekeeping machinery
∎ Support and develop beekeeper regarding beekeeping project work
∎ Negotiate with farmers to provide pollination services in the growing of fruit, seed and vegetable crops
∎ Conduct field work in remote locations under adverse conditions for prolonged periods
∎ Assist to select area for beekeeping and bee breeding
∎ Maintain control over diseases and pest, labour attendance, stock and resolution book
∎ Prepare daily and monthly reports, observation reports and expenditure reports
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Age, education and experience will be relaxed for the potential candidates
∎ Must have knowledge on production, process, prepare action plan, agriculture and agribusiness
∎ Must have knowledge on computer, accounting, MS word, Excel operations
∎ Must have communication skill, leadership skill, analytical ability, farmer management, reporting, hardworking
∎ Able to work under pressure
