Having a basic understanding of Windows & Linux OS, and file systems.
Working knowledge of shell scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
At Least Minimum 2–3 years of experience in system or network support
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to support users of varying technical expertise
MTCNA, CCNA,CCNP, RHCSA, MCSA /Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification will be preferable.
Responsibilities & Context:
Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux servers.
Perform routine system monitoring, verify backups, and ensure high system availability.
Provide technical support for system incidents, outages, and service requests.
Support the management of virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Assist in maintaining email Service (Microsoft Exchange, Office 365), including basic diagnostics.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Assist with configuring routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, RIP, and static routing.
Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams and asset inventories.
Coordinate with ISPs and external vendors for service issues, upgrades, and new installations.
Assist in implementing and maintaining network security controls, firewalls, and access control systems.
Monitor for security alerts, unauthorized access, malware, and system vulnerabilities.
Assist with management of DNS, DHCP, FTP, Print Servers, Proxy, Antivirus, and Backup Solutions.
Provide L1 and L2 technical support for system, network, and hardware-related issues.
Manage and resolve IT helpdesk tickets, documenting all actions and resolutions.
Install and troubleshoot end-user devices, printers, IP phones, and CCTV cameras.
Assist in monitoring datacenter infrastructure, including power, cooling, and safety systems.
Maintain hardware inventories, configuration backups, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Use network/system monitoring tools such as OpManager, Cacti, NetFlow, AppManager, etc.
