Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
Ensure data security, system backup, disaster recovery, and access control.
Develop and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and cybersecurity standards
Manage IT support team and monitor performance.
Prepare IT budget, system reports, and improvement plans.
Provide regular system performance and risk reports to management.
Oversee IT asset lifecycle management including procurement, tagging, and disposal.
Coordinate internal and external IT audits and ensure compliance readiness.
System Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and upgrading hardware and software (OS, ERPs, CRM systems).
Managing LAN/WAN, VPNs, and internet connectivity including configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
Setup new hire accounts, managing permissions via Active Directory or Okta, conducting offboarding for exit employees.
Implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure data can be restored quickly after a failure.
Maintaining antivirus software, applying security patches, and monitoring for suspicious network activity.
