Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems in the hospital premises.
Monitor, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, distribution panels, and fixtures.
Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of electricians and technicians.
Ensure uninterrupted power supply from generators, transformers, and PDB lines.
Maintain and repair emergency systems, including UPS, inverters, and backup power systems.
Assist in the preparation and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure electrical safety and compliance with national standards and hospital protocols.
Keep records of electrical maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and inventory.
Support new electrical project work, renovations, and installations under the guidance of the Chief Engineer/Project Engineer.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of parts and consumables.
