• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• FCPS / MD / MS / MPhil / PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant discipline.

• Valid BMDC Registration Certificate.

• Eligibility for appointment as Professor according to the latest BMDC and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare regulations.

• Age At least 35 years

• Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the position of Professor as prescribed by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC), the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and the affiliated University.

• Strong academic, clinical, teaching, and research background.

• Demonstrated leadership in medical education and faculty development.

• A record of publications in peer-reviewed journals will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and clinical leadership within the department.

• Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching using innovative educational strategies.

• Supervise dissertations, thesis work, clinical research, and scholarly publications.

• Mentor junior faculty members, residents, interns, and medical students.

• Design and continuously improve curriculum aligned with BMDC and affiliated university standards.

• Promote research excellence through publication in indexed national and international journals.

• Lead Continuing Medical Education (CME), workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs.

• Participate in accreditation, institutional quality assurance, and strategic academic planning.

• Maintain excellence in ethical clinical practice and patient-centered healthcare.

• Build collaborative relationships with national and international academic institutions.

• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the College Authority.
