Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain proper records of all incoming and outgoing materials at the project site.
Receive, inspect, and verify materials against delivery challans and purchase orders.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of construction materials.
Maintain stock registers (manual and/or digital) and update regularly.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excess materials to management.
Coordinate with procurement and site engineers for material requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all store-related documents.
Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area.
