Responsibilities & Context:
- Update daily stock registers, ledgers, and ERP/Software systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all supplies
- Maintain records of batch numbers, expiry dates, and warranty where applicable.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of essential items at all times.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and follow up for timely delivery.
- Issue materials to the concerned departments against requisitions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & yearly stock reports for submission to company management.
- Ensure storage conditions comply with safety standards.
- Regularly checking for expired, damaged, or near-expiry items and reporting to management
- Should be maintained in accordance with company policies, internal audit, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor materials usage patterns and suggest measures for cost savings.
- Prevent misuse, pilferage, or overstocking of materials.
- Ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Ensure discipline, cleanliness, and systematic arrangement in the store.
