Experience:
Minimum 4–7 years of experience in store or warehouse management in garments accessories or manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of EPZ store and customs documentation preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP systems, and inventory software.
Strong knowledge of FIFO, LIFO, and lean inventory techniques.
Understanding of raw materials such as plastics, paper, metals, fabrics, and packaging materials.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary: The Store In-Charge is responsible for overall management of the store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials and finished goods used in garments accessories manufacturing such as buttons, zippers, labels, hang tags, poly bags, trims, elastics, and packaging materials. The role ensures proper stock control, documentation, and compliance to support smooth production and on-time shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all store activities including receiving, inspection, storage, and issuing of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain accurate stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Implement FIFO (First in, First Out) and LIFO systems for material management.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
- Monitor proper handling and storage of sensitive materials like plastic resin, paper, ink, other raw materials and finished goods, etc.
- Maintain all store documents such as Goods Received Notes (GRN), Material Issue Notes (MIN), and stock registers.
- Prepare inward and outward reports for management review.
- Ensure proper data entry in ERP or inventory management software.
- Maintain records for buyer audits and EPZ compliance requirements.
- Work closely with the production, procurement, and commercial teams to meet material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to the production floor.
- Provide accurate stock reports to planning and merchandising teams for order forecasting.
- Inspect incoming raw materials for quality and quantity accuracy before storing.
- Ensure compliance with EPZ rules, buyer requirements, and international audit standards.
- Maintain safe storage practices to avoid damage, contamination, or pilferage.
