Additional Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial roles, preferably in export-oriented industries. (Experience may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.)

  2. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

  3. Strong knowledge of banking operations, LC documentation and export financing.

  4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks to effectively manage corporate banking transactions and services.
  • Handle foreign exchange transactions and manage the full lifecycle of Letter of Credit (LC) processes, including opening, amendments, and negotiations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, process payments, and manage various banking facilities such as loans, overdrafts, and other financial instruments.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of export/import transactions, including documentation, realization of export proceeds, and filing claims for penalties on overdue export bills.
  • Regularly track and monitor overdue export bills to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to manage marine and other insurance policies, ensuring the timely payment of premiums and commissions.
  • Ensure timely processing and payment of customs duties, VAT, and other tax obligations related to export activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on accounting standards, financial best practices, and the use of financial software.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Tally Prime software to maintain transparency and accountability in financial records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
