• Proven experience in Tekla Structures (steel detailing).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.   

• Prior experience in high voltage/telecommunication steel tower detailing will be considered an asset.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of international detailing standards is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented TEKLA Modeler to join our Structural Engineering and Detailing Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and related documentation for structural steel projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings, production orders, and project documentation.
• Develop high‑quality production and erection drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
• Review and verify Tekla/AutoCAD models and drawings prior to approval and fabrication.
• Create accurate 3D structural steel models in Tekla Structures.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and internal QA/QC procedures.
• Produce workshop fabrication drawings and manufacturing details based on engineering design information.
• Generate detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for beams, columns, trusses, and other steel components.
• Prepare construction and erection deliverables including erection plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings.
• Prepare 2D drawings for single parts, fittings, assemblies, and finished fabricated components.
• Develop sub‑assembly GA drawings as required.
• Prepare shop bolt location lists, bolt summary reports, and related documentation.
• Develop connection details (bolted/welded) in coordination with structural engineers.
• Generate DXF NC files for automated plate cutting and DSTV NC files for automated fabrication.
• Prepare master lists such as material lists, assembly drawing lists, bolt lists, and single‑part lists.
• Coordinate with draftsmen for preparation and finalization of structural drawings.
• Maintain and update Tekla templates, components, and custom settings.
• Stay updated with new Tekla Structures features and industry best practices.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by Management as needed.
