Responsibilities & Context:
- Provide round-the-clock nursing care to neonates in NICU.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, feeding patterns, and overall clinical status of babies.
- Assist in newborn procedures (CPAP, suctioning, cannulation, feeding tube insertion, etc.).
- Prepare and administer medications as per doctor's instructions.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of NICU equipment such as incubators, warmers, ventilators, infusion pumps, etc.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, charts, and reports.
- Follow strict infection prevention and NICU safety protocols.
- Support parents by explaining care procedures and providing emotional guidance.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other nursing staff for smooth NICU operations.
- Participate in duty roster (day/night shifts).
