Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SQA Engineer to join our dynamic IT organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring the quality of our software products. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of software reliability, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring that our solutions meet both client and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive testing strategy that includes manual testing methods and automated testing methods is a must.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify and report defects, and track their resolution.
Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure that the testing is aligned with the overall project goals.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance techniques and tools.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the development team.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to define the overall test strategy and plans.
Execute test cases and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior and mid level SQA engineers. Share best practices, provide training, and assist in their professional development.
Lead the effort in determining the testing approach, test coverage, and risk-based prioritization.
Set up and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network
