Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows servers, desktop environments, networking (LAN/WAN, UTP cable termination), and database or ERP systems.
Soft Skills: Good problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-IT medical staff.
Responsibilities & Context:
Technical Support: Troubleshoot and fix hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and biometric devices) and network connectivity problems.
System Maintenance: Install, configure, and update operating systems, software licenses, and hospital-based management or payroll software.
Network & Security: Monitor local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, routers, and switches, while ensuring data security through firewalls and regular data backups.
User Management: Set up new user accounts, manage staff email systems, and remove expired accounts according to HR guidelines.
Infrastructure Monitoring: Maintain server functions, storage, and specialized hospital equipment like CCTV systems or VoIP communication tools.
