Responsibilities & Context:
GPH Ispat Ltd. is looking for a Sr. Officer – IT to ensure uninterrupted IT operations by maintaining hardware, network infrastructure, and user systems while providing Level 1/Level 2 technical support and optimizing network performance and security.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1/Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access controls
Maintain comprehensive IT inventory and asset records
Install physical hardware, lay network cables, and configure switches, routers, MikroTik devices, and access points.
Manage and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network environments.
Maintain, configure, and ensure the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and total software environments.
Assemble PCs, diagnose hardware and software issues, service accessories/UPS units, and execute required network upgrades.
Identify and eliminate bandwidth bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency.
Secure network operations and maintain safe, encrypted data transmission across all connections.
Deliver end-user technical support for OS, hardware, and network issues while collaborating with IT team members and management.
