Requirements:

∎ At least 5 years of experience in accounts and Finance department with understanding govt projects.·
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Power/Engineering sector·
∎ Deep understanding of the industry’s financial landscape, market trends, and competitive environment (Chinese accounting system, Foreign direct investment)·
∎ proficiency with advanced financial software, ERP systems, and analytics tools.
∎ Accounting certification or equivalent is preferred.
∎ Good communication skill (English and Chinese)
∎ Strong knowledge of Chinese financial regulations and tax laws.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Deep understanding of the industry’s financial landscape, market trends, and competitive environment (Chinese accounting system, Foreign direct investment
∎ Good understanding about international Tax policies and (knowledge about Chinese tax law will add value)
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage day to day accounting functions including regular cash and bank book maintenance.
∎ Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
∎ Checking the monthly reconciliation statement, such as Bank reconciliation, Receivable reconciliation, Payable reconciliation etc.
∎ Lead team of accounts people
∎ Prepare, review, organize and handle all documents, reports and statements for Management.
∎ Exceptional ability to promote company success by being courteous to customers, company associates, through a professional appearance and by having a positive attitude.
∎ Formulate and enhance accounting systems and processes.
∎ Draft balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents to reflect the company's financial status.
∎ Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements, adhering to all accounting policies.
∎ Distribute Monthly Reports to relevant academic and non-academic divisions.
∎ Oversee payroll verification and reconciliation.
∎ Ensure smooth operation of accounting systems and manage annual audits.
∎ Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
∎ Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities of the projects.
∎ Work with external auditors to ensure compliance and fulfilment of deadlines.
∎ Review monthly, quarterly and half yearly, yearly Report for Local and Head office.
∎ Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.
∎ Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
