Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Senior Manager and Head of Quality will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our organization's operations. His leadership and expertise will guide a dedicated team responsible for all aspects of quality assurance, quality control, and technical oversight. He will work collaboratively to drive improvements in our Quality Management Systems (QMS), guarantee compliance with buyer standards, and align production outputs with company specifications.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Leadership and Team Development: Lead and cultivate an effective team comprising Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), in-house QA, and technical staff. Empower your team to address all quality-related issues within the group;
∎ Quality Management Systems: Support departmental goals to enhance and refine existing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and techniques to align with buyers' quality standards. Ensure production outputs conform to company specifications by leveraging an improved QMS;
∎ Risk Assessment and Product Development: Oversee all product development processes to identify and assess deviations from quality standards. Conduct style-specific risk assessments to proactively address potential issues;
∎ Raw Material Compliance: Audit raw materials supplied by vendors to guarantee compliance with quality standards before integration into the production process;
∎ Production Planning: Review production plans for new products, ensuring quality considerations are embedded from the outset;
∎ Quality Monitoring and Control: Monitor the final product output and compare properties against established requirements. Make informed decisions to approve or reject defective products. Conduct periodic Quality Control checks along the production line;
∎ Documentation and Analysis: Maintain meticulous documentation and perform statistical analysis of quality data. Collect and analyze feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met;
∎ Safety and Compliance: Ensure that safety, quality, compliance, and ethical considerations are integral aspects of the job;
∎ Continuous Improvement: Monitor quality development areas and gather feedback for corrective and preventive actions. Communicate urgent quality issues to relevant departments and stakeholders, maintaining proper hierarchical communication channels;
∎ Quality Reporting: Prepare comprehensive product and process quality reports for management, summarizing trends and insights from statistical analysis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Candidates should have a proven track record of 8 to 12 years of experience in the field of quality assurance;
∎ Industry Knowledge: Candidates must have relevant experience in denim manufacturing garments industry;
∎ Quality Assurance Expertise: A deep understanding of quality assurance processes, standards, and methodologies is required. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of quality control, quality management systems, and quality improvement techniques;
∎ Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards is a plus. Candidates should be well-versed in relevant quality standards and compliance measures;
∎ Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and addressing quality issues effectively;
∎ Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients is important;
∎ Leadership Skills: Candidates should demonstrate leadership and management abilities, as they may be responsible for overseeing a team of quality assurance professionals;
∎ Continuous Improvement: A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to enhancing quality processes and practices is highly valued.
