Work Experience:

  • 2–5 years of proven experience in category management or business development, preferably in the FMCG sector.

Additional Requirement:

  • Hands-on experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain coordination.
  • Strong track record of managing mega promotional campaigns, driving sales performance, and leading cross-functional collaboration (e.g., with marketing, logistics, and tech teams).
  • Experience working with digital tools/platforms such as ERP, PIM systems, analytics dashboards, and online marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from large datasets and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of customer behavior, pricing strategies, and product positioning in the electronics sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies for FMCG products to drive growth in online sales channels.
  • Set clear objectives for revenue, market share, and profitability through online channels.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to refine and adjust the strategy based on data insights.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Category heads & KAMs, product listing specialists, digital marketing professionals, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between e-commerce, sales, marketing, logistics, and IT departments to execute the online sales strategy
  • Train, and develop team members to align with organizational goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, conversion rates, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability to track the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize the user experience (UX) and the online shopping journey to drive engagement and sales.
  • Oversee the online product catalog for FMCG products, ensuring that it is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with customer needs.
  • Work closely with the supply chain and merchandising teams to manage product availability and stock levels.
  • Introduce new products online based on customer demand, trends, and competition analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create online promotional campaigns, discounts, and offers to boost sales and engagement.
  • Ensure a seamless, customer-friendly experience across e-commerce platforms, from browsing to checkout.
  • Implement customer feedback loops, ensuring that the consumer's voice influences product offerings and service improvements.
  • Build loyalty programs and customer retention strategies to increase repeat purchases.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, marketplace sellers, brands & manufacturers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and partners to ensure competitive pricing and timely deliveries for online orders.
  • Ensure that third-party vendors align with company standards for product quality, packaging, and fulfillment.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor customer behavior, sales trends, and market dynamics.
  • Provide actionable insights based on data to improve e-commerce performance, optimize pricing, and target the right customers.
  • Implement A/B testing and other data-driven methodologies to test new strategies or product offerings.
  • Ensure e-commerce operations comply with industry regulations, including consumer protection laws, digital marketing guidelines, and data privacy laws.
  • Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the e-commerce division, managing costs, optimizing revenue streams, and ensuring sustainable growth.
