Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Recording, maintaining, and managing day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable & receivable of the company.
∎ Coordinating, preparing, and maintaining purchase orders, invoices, and payment orders.
∎ Preparing financial statements, reports, and utilization certificates.
∎ Conducting reconciliation of accounts payable & receivable, and banking transactions.
∎ Analyzing financial information to identify discrepancies, if any.
∎ Manage VAT, tax, and voucher software entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
∎ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
∎ Oversee the recording of fixed assets, maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset registers. This includes tracking the purchase, depreciation, and disposal of all fixed assets, such as property, plant, and equipment.
∎ Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
∎ Analyzing financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
∎ Maintaining a strong understanding of accounting software and technology.
∎ Contributing to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
∎ Performing such other duties as per the management requirements.
