Job Summary:
The Senior Executive – Quality will be responsible for supervising and ensuring adherence to quality standards across all stages of production. This role involves overseeing inspections, coordinating corrective actions, and developing the capabilities of the quality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance practices, and regulatory standards, with leadership capabilities to guide and train junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct day-to-day in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet approved standards.
Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials to verify conformance with quality specifications.
Monitor production processes to detect defects, deviations, or non-conformities and initiate corrective measures.
Record inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive documentation for traceability.
Participate in the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Assist in sample preparation, quality testing, and product validation during trials or changes.
Coordinate with production supervisors to halt production for critical quality issues and escalate as required.
Follow up on rework and rejected items to ensure proper handling and resolution.
Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards in the quality control zones.
Ensure regular calibration and proper functioning of inspection tools and equipment.
Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s quality assurance strategy and goals.
Support initiatives to acquire and maintain certifications such as ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc.
Recommend improvements to inspection techniques, documentation practices, or control systems.
Stay informed about changes in industry regulations and quality trends to ensure ongoing compliance and competitiveness.
