Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the Quality Control team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach and guide its members to ensure a workforce which is competent, engaged and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.
∎ Lead the Quality Control function by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure that QC activities are compliant with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System and Jotun’s HSEQ Management system.
∎ Responsible for HSEQ within area of responsibility
∎ Initiate, drive and follow-up continuous improvement activities by implementing the Jotun Operations System and follow up through agreed KPIs.
∎ Participate in operations management meetings to coordinate activities and improvement projects.
∎ Give advice to Operations Managers regarding analytical equipment and set-up
∎ Describe and approve analytical methods and control routines
∎ Give analytical training to relevant personnel
∎ Evaluate need for improvements
∎ Establish a plan to make sure the laboratory with all equipment and personnel is always up and running to required standard
∎ Implement Statistical process control (SPC) like Process mapping, A3, 5Why, Fishbone analysis, RCA, Right first time, Short interval control to improve operational efficiency.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 32 years
∎ Hands on experience in implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 management system
