Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Communicate with overseas and local reinsurers.
∎ Communicate with foreign clients.
∎ Prepare reinsurance summary.
∎ Co-ordinate with other team members of the reinsurance department.
∎ Preparing bordereaux for local reinsurers.
∎ Complying to company's Underwriting/Reinsurance manual and guidelines.
∎ Taking professional counsel on insurance & reinsurance from management.
∎ Participating in the workshop/training relating to underwriting & reinsurance

∎ Reinsurance Department of a general insurance company deals with company's relationship and partnership with overseas and local reinsurers. So, a good command in English and MS Excel is a must for a reinsurance officer, who will get an international exposure from the very beginning of the career in Reinsurance Department.
