Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate from any discipline
∎ 'Fire Safety Management' Course from Fire Service & Civil Defense
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish a full functional and effective fire safety management system.
∎ Train up all workers / staffs / employees on fire safety, protection, fighting and first-aid on demonstration basis to make the mission success.
∎ Ensure security aspects of the company and train securities for safe guard of the organization.
∎ Regular inspection of fire equipments and security post and sensitive points of the factory at day & night.
∎ Ensure that all fireman, fire fighters and security personnel are in right order and perform their duties as per requirement.
∎ Identify the fire hazards areas and take proper preventive measures on priority basis.
∎ Monitor / supervise the electrical/ power cables / loose wires properly and to take remedial measures immediately.
∎ Check machine maintenance and fire related books, registers, logs etc. correctly on a short schedule basis.
∎ Prepare all safety standards, policy, reports & documentation regarding fire safety issue including fire evacuation plan and procedure.
∎ Maintain discipline in all production area regarding Fire prevention, safety, & Security.
∎ Monitor, Review & check-up regularly all types of fire instruments.
∎ Must have well knowledge on installation and maintenance of Panel Board System, Fire Alarm, Smoke Detector, Sprinkler, Addressable and Fire Hydrant system.
∎ Maintain & ensure safety in all production area and make sure a free & un-block evacuation for all employees.
∎ Administer the annual fire extinguisher maintenance program, sprinkler, addressable and other test program.
∎ Implementation & control of fire safety as per direction of the management.
∎ Any other assignment given by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Retired Officers from Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense are encouraged to apply.
∎ Must have TOT (Training of Trainers) certificate on fire safety training.
∎ Should have training and adequate knowledge in fire fighting, first aid and evacuation.
∎ Sound knowledge on Accord/Alliance requirements.
∎ Computer Literacy & e-mail communications are mandatory
∎ Able to work in under pressure and for long time.
∎ Experience in RMG sector will be given preference.
∎ Age may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates and retired officer from Fire Service and Civil Defense.
