Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a similar role within an IT organization.

• Strong knowledge of SQA guidelines, methodologies, and quality models (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model, etc.).

• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Cypress, or similar.

• Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman, TestNG, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).

• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to identify, report, and track software defects efficiently.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple testing projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment, automation testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

• Experience in mobile and web application testing.

• Experience in using bug tracking and test management tools.

• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and tools quickly.

• API Testing, C++programing, JavaScript, JIRA, Jmeter, Python, Selenium Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in ISTQB, CSTE, or Agile QA.

• Experience with API testing, mobile testing, and cloud-based applications.

• Exposure to DevOps practices and QA automation in CI/CD environments.

• Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, security testing, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

• Ability to work flexibly across different time zones to support foreign clients.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SQA Engineer to join our dynamic IT organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans,  identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring the quality of our software products. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of software reliability, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring that our solutions meet both client and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive testing strategy that includes manual testing methods and automated testing methods is a must.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Identify and report defects, and track their resolution.

• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure that the testing is aligned with the overall project goals.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance techniques and tools.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the development team.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to define the overall test strategy and plans.

• Execute test cases and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems.

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior and mid level SQA engineers. Share best practices, provide training, and assist in their professional development.

• Lead the effort in determining the testing approach, test coverage, and risk-based prioritization.

• Set up and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations, to simulate real-world usage scenarios.

• Conduct regular regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not introduce new defects or impact existing functionality.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, scripts, data, and results.

• Monitor and manage the progress of testing activities and ensure adherence to timelines and quality goals.
