Job Context:
∎ The Area Program (AP) Sponsorship Officer is responsible to guide the partners for implementing all the sponsorship operations at program area and facilitate communications to improve the good relationship between the child and family with the sponsor.
∎ This position is also to ensure smooth functioning of the sponsorship Systems and assist in developing Area Program (AP) level plan and budget.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Guide the partners in terms of sponsorship operations.
∎ Supply all sponsorship essential services with maintaining standard in collaboration with partners.
∎ Registered Child monitoring and follow up action as per standard for ensuring child well-being with collaboration of partners.
∎ Build capacity of facilitator, community members, leaders and partners for smooth and efficient sponsorship operations.
∎ Implementation of sponsorship programs in the area as per AP Plan, DIP, collaboratively with Partners.
∎ Ensure smooth functioning of the sponsorship systems.
∎ Establish quality control system in the Area Programme (AP).
∎ Establish effective working relationship, adequate referral and networking with relevant GOs, NGOs and other civil society groups to achieve project goal through collaborative efforts and avoid multiple sponsorship as appropriate.
∎ Facilitate process of community led sponsorship, community led child care and protection and build capacity of community and partners towards this goal.
∎ Assist in AP level planning & budgeting for integrated sponsorship planning and implementation.
∎ Prepare all types of sponsorship reports and share with respective stakeholders including community as appropriate.
∎ Assess sponsorship risk in the area and plan to manage.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation.
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license.
∎ Ability to work in different target groups.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel & MS Power Point.
∎ Minimum 2 years of community development activities/Sponsorship activities.
∎ 75% field visit in the working area is expected.
∎ Good working relationship between Sponsorship project and other projects including special projects in the working area.
∎ This role will work directly with the community in respective project.
∎ Good working attitude and relationship with partner organizations.
