Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement the sponsorship operations and child protection related interventions of the upazila unit of the AP in accordance with AP Plan for achieving the goal.
∎ This position is to assist in planning, budgeting, facilitation of training, workshops, working with the community, prepare all reports and documents properly in relation to sponsorship and all other required activities.
∎ Deliver all sponsorship services maintaining its standard.
∎ Ensure quality of sponsorship services.
∎ Ensure child monitoring and follow up action as per standard.
∎ Implementation of Child Protection (CP) programs in the area as per AP Plan (upazila part) with collaboration of Program Officers.
∎ Assisting in Area Programme/Upazila level planning & budgeting.
∎ Facilitate process of community led sponsorship, community led child care and protection and build capacity of community towards this goal.
∎ Establish effective working relationship, adequate referral and networking with relevant GOs, NGOs and other civil society groups to achieve project goal through collaborative efforts and avoid multiple sponsorship as appropriate.
∎ Ensure awareness of staff, volunteers, vendors, parents and community about CP, response on CP Incidents and follow up action.
∎ Facilitate to empower children (child/youth forum) and take child led initiatives.
∎ Prepare all types of sponsorship reports (including CP report) and share with respective stakeholders including community as appropriate.
∎ Coordinate with TP-specialists and Program Officers for integrated sponsorship planning and implementation.
∎ Provide documentation support of implementation CP Policy and Sponsorship compliance issues at Upazila level.
∎ Generate regular Single STEP report and share with Upazila team for necessary programmatic action.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation.
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license.
∎ Ability to work in different target groups.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel & MS Power Point.
∎ Minimum 2 years of community development activities/Sponsorship activities.
∎ 75% field visit in the working area is expected.
∎ Good working relationship between Sponsorship project and other projects including special projects in the working area.
∎ This role will work directly with the community in respective project.
