Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent should be a qualified/part-qualified Chartered Accountant with BBA/MBA, major in Finance/Accounting

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Fully responsible for ensuring IFRS compliance for all classes of transactions across the NTC. Stay abreast of latest updates in accounting standards and constantly research on the applicability of IFRS requirements for day to day transactions
∎ Fully responsible for managing NTC's taxation and fiscal affairs to ensure minimum tax incidence and proper tax planning
∎ Co-ordinate and manage statutory financial audits; ensure timely audit completion and initiate ramifications on audit findings
∎ Responsible for group actual reporting, local IFRS Financials reporting and Quarterly Axiata reporting

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5-6 years working experience in the relevant field
∎ Must have working experience with any of the 'Big 4' audit firms
∎ In-depth knowledge on IAS/IFRS, Companies Act 1994, Income Tax Ordinance 1984 etc.
∎ Adequate knowledge in financial accounting and financial management
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
∎ Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel
∎ Ability to work independently with little supervision
∎ Ability to work under pressure
