∎ Software Quality Assurance Specialist involves in the process, life cycle and creation of the software and aimed at helping users to complete a computer task or program. They need to work closely with Executives to develop the necessary specifications for software. They also need to guide other application developers and leads in the creation of large or complex applications that facilitate the achievement of business outcomes through the use of process and technology.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop test cases and create migration / fall-back / inter-operability functions for applications
∎ Need to assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards and achievement of documented requirements
∎ To utilise technical expertise in the requirements analysis phase to ensure the solution is both fit for purpose and fit for use
∎ To prepare user manual, conduct end users training, ensure effective software maintenance and change requirement management
∎ To design and execute software testing to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application
Additional Requirements:
∎ Quality Assurance Skills:
∎ Experience in creation of test plans,
∎ Experience in automated testing
∎ Knowledge of testing applications
∎ Solid Understanding of QA Testing Environments
∎ Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
∎ Overall Skills:
∎ Experience in project management
∎ High level of competency on designing application GUI, database designing
∎ Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
∎ Leadership qualities to drive forward with confidence and quality
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Good English writing and speaking skills
∎ Commitment to and enthusiasm for organization mission and respect for the organization's core value
