Responsibilities & Context: Description: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Software Engineer – Linux Administrator to join our technical team. This hybrid role combines Linux system administration with software engineering to build, optimize, and maintain high-performance systems and applications on Linux-based environments. You will be responsible for system configuration, automation, performance tuning, security hardening, and supporting development and deployment pipelines.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in Linux systems, scripting, and software development who enjoys solving infrastructure and performance challenges in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure Linux servers and software.
- Maintain and update Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Linux systems and applications.
- Monitor Linux servers for performance and security issues.
- Configuration and management of different types of storage and backup solution.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure seamless operation of our IT systems.
