Education
• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Social Science, psychology, and clinical social work.
• Desirable: A master’s degree in any one of the above fields
Experience
• Essential: Two years minimum in a similar social work-related job
• Desirable: One year of experience with MSF or other NGOs
Knowledge
• Desirable: Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel/PowerPoint).
Languages
• Essential: Chittagonian local language
• Preferred: English language
Provide home-based mental health interventions to high-risk and lost to follow-up patients in the MSF catchment areas and other locations as per the project need.
Identify clients with possible MH needs and link them with counseling and psychiatric services for further assessment.
Assist in the immediate referral of high-risk patients to the nearest or MSF facility, even to the extent of accompanying patients as needed.
Monitor MH patients at high-risk of Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) / Inter-partner Violence (IP), Partner Violence (PV) / Domestic Violence (DV) / Gender Diverse population violence (GDPV), as well as their appropriate support systems, and follow-up on patients’ conditions and functioning.
Conducts home visits and lost to follow-up tracing of cases to encourage patients back into the treatment process.
Provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) and information on, and referral to, MSF services and other community-based services.
Participate in the community collaboration meetings and psycho-education sessions in coordination with the CBTMs to individuals and groups in the community, developing MH awareness, enhancing psychosocial functioning, and addressing stigmatization of people with MH problems and survivors of violence.
In coordination with the Humanitarian Affairs Officers, address protection risks and needs of MH patients and their families. Map and update list of community-based actors providing psychosocial services.
Collaborate with the Integrated Outreach Team to provide focused and community-based psychosocial activities, while assisting CBTMS in identifying target population needs, and at times tracking of lost-to-follow-up MH patients.
Contribute towards the development and delivery of context-specific IEC materials for MH activities like groups, trainings, team processes in the clinics and the community.
Provide written reports, keep records of activities, filing, and documentation.
Contribute to the data collection and reporting from the community.

Ensure confidentiality of all psychosocial referrals and medical cases/records.
This is a permanent contract. Salary according to Level Five (05) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 68,500 Gross). 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
