Job Responsibilities:
∎ Effective Project operations/implementation-80%
∎ Responsible for executing all activities at SHG, Households & Community level as a front-line staff according to project operation plan.
∎ Selection of beneficiaries, community needs assessment, and skill capacity analysis of the beneficiary.
∎ Formation of SHG & guiding them for using their potentiality.
∎ Supporting asset/cash transfer, procurement of different project material following IRB policy.
∎ Supporting awareness material development and facilitating awareness sessions according to the plan.
∎ Facilitating group development training on leadership, savings and financial management, linkage development, and giving technical support.
∎ Support to organize different awareness, hygienic practices, rights base training, and meeting.
∎ Facilitating different meetings and training for the beneficiary and community people.
∎ Arranging regular group meetings and ensuring group activities are going with the plan.
∎ Regular communication with beneficiaries
∎ carrying out all activities according to the work plan.
∎ Support arranging different meetings with different stakeholders, service providers, and duty bearers.
∎ Facilitating community consultation meetings, CBO meetings, awareness sessions, and SHG meetings
∎ Facilitate self-help savings and financial management
∎ Ensure compliance of different tools, models and approaches are applied uniquely at field operations.
∎ Capacity development training & Supervision (10%)
∎ Capacity development training facilitation for all the project beneficiaries/participants and CBO/SHG leaders
∎ Training follow up, effectiveness assessment, hands-on training at HH level, and training refreshers
∎ Regular follow up of SHG leaders to carry out their routine work effectively
∎ Other Requirement-10%
∎ Maintain admin related all activities
∎ Maintaining and supporting procurement related function and process
∎ Undertaking record-keeping system/documentation in line with IRB record management guidelines.
∎ Regular Financial Monitoring and transition to ensure value for money.
∎ Facilitating external/internal audit;
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Participate seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with Urban livelihoods (E.g income-generating activities, small enterprises, vocational training), Social Mobilization functions, Stranded communities.
∎ Must have expertise in Local language (Urdu)
∎ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint/Adobe Photoshop/ Basic Internet/ etc.
