Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years relevant experience as a Sewing Technician in a well reputed buying office or factory.
∎ Must have In-depth knowledge of sewing techniques and equipment, particularly those relevant to outerwear construction.
∎ Experience with training and development of sewing machine operators will be an added advantage.
∎ Should have good working experience with top sportswear/jacket brands.
∎ Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of sewing techniques, including but not limited to, flatlock stitching, hemming, and seam sealing, specific to outerwear jackets.
∎ Knowledge in textile and print will be a definite advantage
∎ Should have thorough knowledge about garment measurement and patterns
∎ Must have the ability to troubleshoot sewing-related issues efficiently.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication in English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct thorough inspections of Outerwear Jackets throughout the sewing process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
∎ Identify and resolve sewing-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
∎ Provide guidance and training to sewing machine operators to improve their skills and ensure consistent quality across all jacket styles
∎ Work closely with design and development teams to translate design concepts into functional prototypes, offering insights into construction methods and feasibility
∎ Monitor sewing machine performance and maintenance needs, and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure equipment is in optimal condition
∎ Assist in sourcing and testing new materials and trims for jacket construction
∎ Maintain accurate records of sewing specifications, quality standards, and any deviations or modifications made during production

∎ Job Context
∎ The Sewing Technician holds the accountability for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the sewing processes for Outerwear Jackets through technical expertise and problem solutioning in sewing techniques.
∎ Job Responsibilities
