Responsibilities & Context:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in automotive or commercial vehicles.
Conduct routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and inspections as per manufacturer standards.
Support vehicle commissioning, warranty claims, and post-sales service activities.
Use diagnostic tools and service software to identify performance and safety issues.
Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure accurate and timely repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company service procedures.
Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding vehicle operation and maintenance.
Liaise with parts department to identify and requisition required spare parts.
Attend technical training sessions to stay updated on new vehicle models and technologies.
Assist in breakdown support and field service operations when required.
Monitor service turnaround time and help improve customer satisfaction.
