Responsibilities & Context:
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (not part-time, not mixed roles).
Proven success in ranking at least 20 keywords with minimum 1,000 monthly searches each.
Experience in B2B or retail industries is strongly preferred.
Strong command of:
Local SEO
Schema Markup & Technical SEO
E-E-A-T best practices
Expertise in:
Keyword research focused on user intent
On-page optimization (titles, meta, headers, internal linking, LSI terms)
Content strategy & content gap analysis
Ability to write or guide engaging, benefit-focused content.
Familiar with tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth keyword research and cluster planning.
Optimize website pages for ranking, traffic, and conversions.
Develop and implement local SEO strategies.
Improve site structure, internal linking, and schema.
Collaborate with content writers to ensure E-E-A-T-focused content.
Track rankings, monitor competitors, and provide performance reports.
Identify quick-win opportunities as well as long-term SEO growth paths.
Must-Have Results:

Live examples or case studies of keywords ranked.
Proof of ranking 20+ keywords with 1k+ monthly searches each.
Websites or brand names you have personally worked on.
You don’t have 3+ years of full-time SEO experience.
You have no track record of ranking competitive keywords.
