Job Context:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) with support from UNICEF is implementing a project titled `Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (MNCH) and Nutrition Service Delivery for Bangladeshi Host Communities at Cox`s Bazar District`. The project is funded by the World Bank to strengthen the current health system of the district through qualified HR support. In order to fill-up a vacant position of Senior Training (STC), PHD inviting applications from qualified candidates.
∎ Senior Training Coordinator is the second most senior staff of the project portfolio. The Senior Training Coordinator (STC) is responsible to assess capacity gaps of technical staff recruited under the project and deployed under local health system and explore and organize training for capacity enhancement. In addition, STC should assist the Project Coordinator in monitoring and evaluate day-to-day activities, ensuring support from staff, management agencies, donor and other stakeholders. In addition, the position demands encouraging staff and team building, liaising with other stakeholders, and anticipating, planning, and contributing to the development of new health project proposals and reports.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Continuous assessment of training needs, sets training strategies and timely organize all types of training as required within the budgetary provisions;
∎ Maintain close coordination with local health Managers (UH&FPOs) and other actors of the project and organize training in collaboration with trainers, facilitators, training partners, and training beneficiaries;
∎ Design and develop concept notes of training sessions and ToR of trainers, facilitators, and other consultants engaged in the training programs;
∎ Supporting trainers and facilitators in designing and developing training agendas and materials and ensuring consistency of the training sessions aligning with project's objectives;
∎ Ensure appropriate monitoring, documentation, and evaluation of the training activities and measure the impact of the training programs using questionnaires and formats;
∎ Ensure proper reporting system for the government in alignment with the government reporting system for the services provided in KMC corner and NSU;
∎ Prepare periodic reports (monthly/quarterly)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five years of experience within the development / humanitarian sector specially in middle or higher-level positions in NGO or in private sector
∎ Sound knowledge and experience in organization/institution development paradigm, Good command on participatory techniques
∎ Good understanding of assessing training needs, developing training modules, curriculum, training materials and implementation of training and organization development interventions.
∎ Knowledge, sensitivity and experience working with national partner organizations, the Government of Bangladesh, INGOs and UN agencies.
∎ Excellent spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports.
∎ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
∎ Ability to work on tight deadlines.
Salary:
∎ BDT 90,000/per month (Tax will be deducted at source)
