∎ The incumbent shall be responsible for providing clinical services and implementation of Harm Reduction program at the assigned C-DIC under PWID project at Dhaka and Gazipur (Tongi). S/he will be stationed at C-DIC for managing and operating program including HIV positive management & Methadone maintenance Therapy. As a part of this management s/he will be responsible to provide the clinical services to the HIV positive client & MMT client such as ART enrollment, Opportunistic infection management, co-infection management, dose adjustment of MMT clients etc. as required and conduct QA/QI visits at CDIC & DICs at Dhaka. S/he will ensure programmatic & functional coordination with the relevant Project Development Officer (PDO) and will play the key supervisory role of the C-DIC service provider team. The STO-Treatment & Program will work under direct supervision of Technical Coordinator - QA/QI and Technical Coordinator-Program of PWID project. S/he will ensure the HIV management and OST implementation according to the relevant guidelines, frameworks and in collaboration with NASP, SCI etc. S/he will responsible for management of clinical service, C-DIC management and outreach program management. Furthermore S/he will manage the PWID at C-DIC at stabilized stage and will ensure adjustment of methadone dose at C-DIC, follow up & referral services for HIV positive clients, OST clients and PWIDs. One of the Key responsibilities will be to ensure necessary record keeping as set tools / techniques, prepare monthly/ quarterly/ need base report as required. S/he will maintain necessary coordination, collaboration, networking with CTC, SCI, DNC, NASP and other stakeholders as guided by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure eligible OST clients screening based on defined criteria of inclusion and exclusion, stated in the project proposal.
∎ Ensure sorting and listing all the primarily selected clients who are not fit for MMT immediately or not accommodated in all at a time but will undergo for MMT after minimize their physical complexity and availability of space to enrollment new clients.
∎ Determine methadone dose of individual OST client through physical examination and others laboratory diagnosis like urine test as well as considering behavioral data of the client.
∎ Prescribe additional drugs for the client as and when require.
∎ Planning and follow-up of critical clients and ensure referral of critical clients for proper management.
∎ Follow-up & monitoring of daily consumption of methadone at DIC.
∎ Ensure the Infection Prevention Systems are in place and practiced properly by all medical personnel and other relevant staffs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ MBBS degree from any recognized public or private medical institution.
∎ Registered with Bangladesh Medical and Dental Association-BMDC.
∎ Conceptually sound in planning, designing, implementing, analyzing, monitoring and reporting on the public health field.
∎ Able to work with any diverse situation and with most-at-risk-population like People Who Inject Drugs (PWIDs).
∎ Good coordination, collaboration and networking ability with different organization, Institutes, GoB, I/NGOs and UN agencies.
∎ Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communications.
∎ Skilled in MS Office software (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-outlook) and Internet use.
∎ Planning and organizing.
∎ Operational decision making.
∎ Developing Teams.
∎ Coaching and counseling.
∎ Stress tolerance.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
