Experience:
Minimum of 1 years of experience with BSc or 3 years experience with Diploma and relevant fields experience in NGOs/INGOs.

This role involves conducting shelter and site improvement assessments, managing material distribution, and providing technical support to beneficiaries and shelter teams. The position requires regular monitoring of shelter activities, ensuring compliance with shelter standards, and promoting a safe and supportive working environment through safeguarding and PSEA practices. The incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders, including camp focal points, community leaders, and project managers, to ensure the timely and effective delivery of shelter projects.
• Conduct Shelter and Site Improvement assessments through household visits, interviews, and community consultations in collaboration with Block Leader/Mahji, Site Management Sector (SMS), CiC officials, and other stakeholders.
• Distribute coupons to selected households for receiving shelter materials from the distribution center/point and ensure materials requisition and availability at the distribution point.
• Oversee the distribution of shelter materials and necessary accessories to beneficiaries using muster rolls and KoBo, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
• Provide technical support to beneficiaries in building their shelters while adhering to shelter performance standards and ensuring the desired quality.
• Prepare daily reports for submission to the Camp Focal-Shelter and maintain regular tracking and updates on shelter activities, making adjustments to ensure the timely completion of project work.
• Prepare IOUs and process timely payments to laborers for their work, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures.
• Offer technical support and guidance to the Field Assistance-Shelter and beneficiaries on shelter construction, maintenance, and site improvement interventions.
• Ensure shelter and site improvement activities meet the organization's standards, considering the needs of vulnerable groups, such as women, children, adolescents, persons with disabilities, and EVI families.
• Assist in the preparation of project designs, drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as required, in collaboration with the Camp Focal, Cluster Focal-Technical Support, and Project Manager.
• Any other relevant work assigned by supervisor.

• Ensure the safety of program participants, individuals who come into contact with the organization, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), in order to achieve the program's safeguarding goals. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote, and endorse the safeguarding policy among team members, ensuring the implementation of safeguarding standards in all actions.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedures in the event of any reportable incidents and encourage others to do the same.
