Requirements:
Must possess a valid IEB Membership Number.
Proven experience in steel structure design (must), with strong command over both R.C.C and steel detailing.
Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, etc.
Thorough understanding of BNBC, ACI, UBC, and other relevant international codes and standards.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and BOQs.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and review civil and structural works, ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with applicable codes.
- Prepare and check detailed drawings, structural system layouts, reports, and design calculations.
- Perform structural design, drafting, and detailing using modern engineering software tools.
- Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless design integration.
- Analyze and optimize configurations of structural members, connections, and foundations for buildings and related structures.
- Apply sound knowledge of earthquake-resistant and wind-resistant design principles.
- Provide technical support during fabrication and erection of steel structures, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Monitor and align implementation schedules with project timelines and management targets.
- Stay updated with latest advancements in structural engineering practices and software applications.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
