Job Context:
∎ Location: Head Office
∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ Capturing and sharing knowledge, and disseminating information about major progress and results of the Programme; develop climate change knowledge products and dissemination of organisational CCA related activities; contribute to fund raising efforts; and support "Mainstreaming Climate Change at BRAC".

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to develop and design strategic planning, knowledge management strategy and framework
∎ Create collaborative tools to facilitate and sharing ideas for climate change and other programme
∎ Establish and maintain process to ensure knowledge management efforts are shaping strategically
∎ Prepare strategic documents and analyse reports of climate change programme
∎ Contribute in design and guide to develop a communication strategy and knowledge management materials of climate change initiatives by BRAC
∎ Explore options and contribute in design and plan of implementing actions to promote climate resilient solutions
∎ Coordinate and organise technical events, meetings, dialogues for strategic positioning and better visibility of BRAC
∎ Prepare and disseminate newsletter on global, national and project related on climate change and other important issues
∎ Liaising with national, international, government and private sector entities to represent BRAC at the national and international levels, and to build network and partnerships
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 07 years of work experience is required
∎ Knowledge on climate change issues
∎ Excellent computer and relevant technical skills on communication and advocacy material development (including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop etc)
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali, with excellent public speaking skills and a passion for writing and content development
∎ In-depth empirical and analytical understanding on key development issues in the context of urban and rural Bangladesh
∎ Excellent team player with necessary analytical, organisational and project management, problem solving and interpersonal skills and will be able to work under minimum supervision
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication, planning and coordinating skills
∎ Conversant in analytical writing on economic, social, public affairs or other related issues within the international development sectors
∎ Demonstrable experience of communication from concept notes to campaigns
∎ Sound knowledge and working experience of different communication tools and platforms
∎ Demonstrable experience of publishing high quality posts, blogs, and reports
∎ Capability to strategies, coordinate and lead to accomplishment
∎ Networking and developing professional relationships and goodwill
