Responsibilities & Context:
The Senior Research & Policy Officer will aid in the revision of regulations, support networking with members and NGOs, and contribute to the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the GFC Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability and Global Plastic Policy.
The Senior Research & Policy Officer will be accountable to the Senior Technical Advisor and Manager of the Chemicals and Plastic Policy team. The work includes:
Conducting research and facilitating networking activities to support the chemicals and plastics policy team.
Representing the ESDO in national and international policy and campaign work;
Helping to organise events, webinars, and conferences on chemicals and plastics policy;
Conduct and assist in policy-relevant research and advocacy.
Coordinating and exchanging information with current and potential partners;
Contributing to fundraising, applications, project development and reporting exercises.
Contribution to developing strategy of chemicals and plastic policy advocacy and awareness.
