Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate training and advocacy on human rights and justice
∎ Prepare and present issue-based advocacy briefings
∎ Conducting fact findings on human rights violation
∎ Collect and maintain documentation on key policy and legal changes relevant to human rights and justice
∎ Prepare periodic reports as per need
∎ Coordinate studies/research on socio-legal and human rights issues
∎ Represent Nagorik Uddyog to the theme-based forum, alliances, and networks
∎ Keep all advocacy-related documents properly and assist to ensure those as and when required
∎ Prepare analytical write-ups for Nagorik Uddyog's quarterly publication related to rights and justice
∎ Providing supports in dealing with any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Advocate-ship license from the Bar Council will add value to candidature
∎ Experience in policy advocacy
∎ Networking skills with different forums, electronic and print media
∎ Strong writing skills both in English and Bangla
∎ Sound in communication both in English and Bangla
∎ Excellent computer skill and technical know-how
∎ Leadership
∎ Facilitation skill
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
Salary:
∎ Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)
∎ Two yearly bonus (equivalent to one month`s salary)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Costs in relation to any fieldwork will be borne by the organization.
