Responsibilities & Context:

The Senior Project Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation is responsible for supporting the effective planning, implementation, and coordination of Monitoring and Evaluation activities. The role ensures timely data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve program quality, accountability, and impact. She/he will also be responsible for supporting technical assistance and QA.

  • Conduct regular HPL monitoring visits to project sites adherence to guidelines included in the donor form or designed internally by BRAC

  • Ensure timely and accurate collection of quantitative and qualitative data from the field

  • Develop and implement M&E plans, indicators, and tools in alignment with project objectives

  • Deliver weekly monitoring overview to CXB Management, HQ team

  • Support Technical officer and Quality Assurance Officer in design of feedback mechanisms to measure i) staff performance and professionalism and ii) impact of work on beneficiaries such as students, parents, and community members

  • Compile and analyze data to assess project performance and progress

  • Prepare periodic monitoring reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal use and donor reporting

  • Identify trends, lessons learned, and areas for improvement based on data

  • Support baseline, midline, and endline assessments or surveys

  • Assist in the design and implementation of project evaluations or impact assessments

  • Contribute to learning agendas, after-action reviews, and project reviews by sharing M&E findings

  • Conduct data verification and validation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity

  • Maintain proper documentation of M&E data, tools, and reports

  • Ensure M&E practices comply with donor requirements and organizational standards

  • Work closely with program, MIS, and other cross-functional teams to ensure integration of M&E into all project activities

  • Participate in coordination meetings and contribute M&E insights for decision-making

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
