Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in knitwear product design, development.
Understanding fabrics and market trends, with proven experience in handling international clients and collections.
Responsibilities & Context:
Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the making up of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations.
Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs.
Adapting existing designs for mass production.
Directly involve in costing, sampling up to buyer approvals.
Developing new samples.
