Good knowledge about different types of apparel styles.
Analytical knowledge about critical points of apparel and finding smooth solutions.
Strong knowledge of pattern grading, CAD/manual marker, fabric construction, fabric quality, tests, seam strength, shrinkage, etc.
Experience

Tailoring, Apparel Manufacturing, Sampling, Size Set Development, CAD Pattern
Responsibilities & Context:
Discussing the base design with the production team.
Collaborate with designers and product developers to determine the design requirements.
To design patterns for various items such as all kinds of Woven/Knit Tops and Bottoms.
Suggesting improvements in the existing designs.
Examine sketches and sample patterns.
Determining pattern quantities, shapes, and sizes; providing sewing instructions to the operator.
To Minimize fabric wastage and consumption
Make the size set patterns by using manual techniques and Auto CAD software
Creating new patterns and their customization, markers and gradings
Must have sufficient technical knowledge to make manual patterns and markers
To prepare patterns as per the requirement and ensure timely delivery of patterns for production
Identify and correct pattern problems
Implement customer grade rules and specs as necessary.
Create grade patterns to ensure correct samples are submitted for review
