At least 2 years in internal audit within the real estate /construction sector/Sweater Industry.
Technical Skills:-
Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies and risk management frameworks.
Solid understanding of real estate accounting, project costing, and valuation principles.
Proficiency in ERP systems or equivalent.

To perform internal audits across real estate operations, ensuring the integrity of financial records, compliance with applicable regulations, and effectiveness of internal controls. The Senior Officer/Asstt Manager will assess risks, identify process improvements, and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and governance within the organization’s real estate projects and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit Planning & Execution
Assist in preparing the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments.
Conduct audits of real estate projects, property management operations, leasing, procurement, and financial transactions.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, systems, and procedures.
Perform detailed testing of transactions, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards.
2. Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation
Identify potential business risks and control weaknesses within the real estate operations.
Recommend practical and value-added solutions to mitigate identified risks.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, corporate governance standards, and legal requirements.
3. Financial & Operational Review
Review project budgets, cost allocations, and progress billings for accuracy and compliance.
Examine lease agreements, property sales, acquisitions, and investment documentation for validity and proper authorization.
Verify revenue recognition, asset capitalization, and expense classifications in accordance with IFRS or applicable standards.
4. Reporting & Follow-Up
Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
Present audit results to management and assist in developing action plans for improvement.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
5. Coordination & Support
Collaborate with finance, operations, legal, and compliance teams to address audit issues.
Support external auditors during statutory and regulatory audits.
Stay updated with industry best practices, real estate laws, and evolving audit methodologies.
