Job Summary:
The Senior Officer – Employer Engagement will play a key role in strengthening industry linkages to enhance job readiness among program participants. This position is responsible for organizing job readiness workshops and coordinating with industry experts and employers to facilitate practical, career-oriented training sessions.
Responsibilities:
● Plan, organize, and coordinate job readiness workshops for students and participants.
● Identify and engage with industry experts and employers to participate as guest speakers or facilitators in workshops.
● Collect and provide job vacancies among the university students and place them in the industry.
● Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations, companies, and industry stakeholders to support workforce development initiatives.
● Mentor and give support to the university students regarding career pathways, higher study opportunities abroad, scholarship opportunities inside and outside the country for the university students, and provide training, feedback, and performance coaching.
● Prepare & update the job circular board for job seekers on a daily and weekly basis.
● Collaborate with internal teams to align employer engagement activities with training outcomes and program goals.
● Ensure high-quality execution of workshops by managing logistics, content alignment, and participant engagement.
● Monitor and evaluate workshop effectiveness and employer feedback to improve future engagement activities.
● Represent the organization at industry events, career fairs, and employer forums as needed.
● Maintain a database of employers, job opportunities, and placement records.
● Communicate with the vendor and arrange the logistics for conducting the workshop.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
● Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
● Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
● Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
